Argument between Two Male Teens Escalates into Stabbing

Pacific, Mo. - Yesterday, Nov. 12, at approximately 10:45 a.m., Franklin County Deputies responded to the Pacific Police Department in reference to an assault report.

The reported victim was at the Pacific Police Department stating that he had been stabbed the night before.

The victim stated that at around 9:30 p.m., on November 11, he requested a female associate to come to his residence in Avery Trailer Park in Gray Summit to retrieve her property.

The victim stated that while at the residence, an argument began between the victim, the female, and her brother who came with her. According to the victim, the argument between him and the female’s brother became physical.

At one point, the victim stated he thought the subject punched him in the back, however, in checking, he determined that he had been stabbed. The suspect and female then left the residence.

The victim stated that he contacted Meramec Ambulance but told them the wound was from a skateboarding accident. He later decided to report the incident to law enforcement. The wound is believed to be from a pocket knife.

Deputies made contact with the suspect who stated that they were just playing around when the victim was accidentally stabbed. The suspect was arrested for investigation of assault. He was a white male, age 17 from Pacific. The victim has been identified as 19 year old Garrett Brown, also from Pacific.
