Charges Filed In Abduction Of Ellanah Spear - Grandmother Had No Intentions Of Returning Child

Franklin County, Mo. - According to Sheriff Gary Toelke, after 2-year-old Ellanah Spear had been abducted by her non-custodial grandparents early Sunday morning, Spear was found unharmed early this morning at 4:30 a.m. in Jefferson City, Mo.

Sheriff Toelke released a statement moments ago confirming that Spear was with her non-custodial parents when she was found.

During an interview with investigators the grandmother stated that she did not intend to return the child.

The grandmother and step-grandfather have been charged and their bond has been set at $400,000.00 cash only.

The step-grandfather was charged with felony kidnapping, while the grandmother has been charged with felony interference with custody.

Subjects are identified as Coleen Jones, a white female, age 38 and Scott Jones, a white male, age 45, both  from Hwy AT in Villa Ridge.
