Elfrieda G. Fallbeck Allersmeyer, age 98, of New Haven, MO, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014, at De Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis.
Mrs. Allersmeyer was born April 6, 1916, in Berger, MO, the daughter of the late William and Antonia (nee Kuntzsch) Fallbeck.
She was the wife of Elmer Allersmeyer, who passed away on April 1, 2000. They were married October 25, 1950, in Anderson, MO.
She is survived by daughters Marilyn Schwartz Mandeville of Houma, LA, JoAnne Williams (Jim) of Sunset Hills, MO, and Ruth Randall ( Dave) of Evansville, IN; grandsons Christopher Schwartz (Dawn) of League City, TX, Curtis Williams of Sunset Hills, MO, and Nicholas Randall of Evansville, IN; and great grandson Sebastian Schwartz. Other survivors include sister in-law Laverne Ehlmann (Arlie) of St. Louis and brother in-law Dwight Nelson of Yuma, AZ, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister Olivia (John) Rethemeyer, and brothers Edwin (Helen), Theodore, Walter (Alma), and Clarence Fallbeck. Elfrieda was a member of Immanual United Methodist Church of Senate Grove, MO.
She enjoyed baking, gardening, playing the organ, sewing, traveling, and, most of all, being with her family and friends. Elfrieda had resided at Friendship Village-Sunset Hills for the last 9 years.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 16, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in New Haven, MO, where services will be held Tuesday, June 17, at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. Ann Mowery officiating.
