Union, Mo. - The final night of the Franklin County Fair ended with local tractor pullers competing for the top spot in their association. The Gateway Tractor Pullers put on a great show for the crowd.
Results from the pull are as follows.
9,200 lb. Super Farm Tractor
1st Place: Tom Bruckerhoff, Gerald. 1066 International, "Spare Parts".
2nd Place: Barry Kormeier, New Haven. 4010 John Deere, "Grow'n Up Green".
3rd Place: Shawn Borgmann, Warrenton. 1256 International, "Legally Red".
4th Place: Darren Hackmann, Marthasville. D21 Allis Chalmers, "Hack Attack".
5th Place: Tyler Hubenthal, Beaufort. 966 International, "Balistic Binder".
10,500 lb. Pro Field Tractor
1st Place: Mike Eilers, Beaufort. 1030 Case, "Short Changed".
2nd Place: Arnold Hackmann, Marthasville. D21 Allis Chalmers, "Hack Attack".
3rd Place: Richie Holdmeyer, Washington. D21 Allis Chalmers.
4th Place: Michael Kluba, Leslie. 1466 International, "Ol' Rusty".
8,000 2.6 Diesel Street Modified Truck
1st Place: Eric Haslag, Loose Creek. '01 Dodge Ram 2500, "The Convict".
2nd Place: Bob Wagner, St. Clair. '98 Dodge Ram 2500.

The Gateway Tractor Pullers Association is a nonprofit association with a purpose to provide rules and regulations for entry level classes in tractor pulling and promote a family oriented association with safe and competitive pulling within the local community.
