NEW HAVEN, Mo. - Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County recently found a family for a home they will be building on Orchard Street in New Haven and are now asking for your help in making one family’s dream of owning their own home become a reality. (Click here to learn how you can help.)

Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County is looking for volunteers, whether you are able to provide skilled labor or simply a lending hand, they welcome anyone willing to donate their time.

About Habitat for Humanity.

Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry that partners with families to build safe, decent, affordable homes.

Habitat then sells these homes at no profit and no interest to partner families who could not otherwise afford their own homes. We have volunteers participating in a variety of volunteer areas and we are certain you will find that there is a great fit for you and your talents and interests.

Here are a few areas of skilled laborers needed:

General construction, plumbing, electric, roofing, painting, framing, siding, and drywall are just a few examples.

Visit their website at http://www.franklincountymohabitat.org/volunteer for more information about how you can help.
