Libby Marquart Crowned 2013 Miss Washington Town And Country Fair

Washington, Mo. - Opening Ceremonies of the Washington Town and Country Fair kicked off this evening with the Scouts's Troop 439 Salute and the always anticipated Fair Queen Coronation.

Minutes ago, Master of Ceremonies, Mr. Steve Kuenzel, announced Miss Libby Marquart as Queen of the 2013 Washington Town and Country Fair.  She is the daughter of Jeff and Dawn Marquart of Washington, Mo.  Her sponsor for this evening's competition is The Law Office of Mark Rudder.

The Queen's Court was also crowned, naming Miss Emily Blocker as 1st Runner Up.  She is the daughter of Jeff and Chris Blocker of Washington, Mo.  She is sponsored by Brinker Promotions.

Miss Ashley Eckelkamp was awarded the title of 2nd Runner Up.  She is the daughter of Brian and Barb Eckelkamp of Washington, Mo.  Her sponsor is N-Sports Rec Center.

Chosen by her fellow contestants, Miss Congeniality is Miss Laura Kenny, daughter of Thomas and Michelle Kenny of Washington, Mo.  She is sponsored by Lighthouse Dental.

Judges for this evening's event were Laura Younghouse, Jackie Paletta, and Alan Brainerd.  The Crown Bearer was Rylie Luehrs, daughter of Whitney Murphy and the late Danny Luehrs.
