Marie C. LaBoube, 90, of Hermann passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 at The Arbors at Victorian Place, Washington, MO.
Mrs. LaBoube was born in Litchfield, Illinois on May 29, 1924, the daughter of the late Henry and Theresa (nee Meyer) Meyer.
She was a member of St. Paul's Church Berger, MO. Marie loved to sew, garden and take care of her lawn, she also enjoyed traveling with her husband.
She was a Sewing Machine Operator at Florsheim and International Shoe Companies in Hermann, for 42 years.
She was the wife of Linus LaBoube. They were Married June 25, 1949 at St. Paul's Church, Berger, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband Linus, by one sister Leona Englert of Hermann; a sister-in-law Evelyn Witte of New Haven. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, by three brothers Joseph, Robert, and Wilford "Cotton" Meyer and by a sister-in-law Mabel Garbs.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 11 at 10 a.m. from St. Paul's Church, Berger, Missouri with Father John Deken officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, Missouri. A Wake Service will be held Sunday Evening at 7:45 p.m.
Interment will be at St. Paul's Cemetery Berger, Missouri.
