NEW HAVEN, Mo. - It is absolutely amazing that in just eight months since the New Haven Community Track Project was officially kicked off over $281,800 in committed funds have been donated by individuals, local and area businesses, and organizations. Monday, the New Haven Chamber of Commerce joined the long list of donors with their $1,000 contribution, leaving just $68,000 needed to build a new track.
Lets not forgot the memorable night at the Track Dinner Auction, which alone raised $47,279. If you have not our article “New Haven Track Dinner Auction Raises Over 45,000 With A Priceless Ending” click here.
About the New Haven Community Track Project.
The New Haven Community Track Project was officially kicked off after committee members held a Town Hall meeting on November 27th, 2013 where a goal of $350,000 was set to be raised over a three year period.
The proposed project would allow a “community owned” 400 meter track facility to be built, which would sit on the New Haven High School campus.
Below is the New Haven Community Track Progress as of July 21, 2014.
You will be blown away by how the Track Dinner Auction ended and the amount of money raised by one person. You have to watch it to believe it.
