Peggy J. Klott (December 14, 1934 - June 8, 2014)

Peggy J. Klott, 79, of Hermann, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at her home.

Mrs. Klott was born in Hermann, Missouri on December 14, 1934, the daughter of the late John and Hyacinth (Wilding) Heberle.

She was the widow of Maurice Henry Klott. They were married April 7, 1956 at St. George Church, Hermann, Missouri. Maurice preceded her in death on November 13, 2010.

Peggy was a member of St. George Church and the Hermann V.F.W. Auxiliary. She enjoyed watching sports, her flower garden and crocheting. She worked at International Shoe Factory for 11 years. She then started babysitting in her home, which she did for over 40 years and enjoyed it very much. She had a special relationship with all the children she cared for.

Peggy is survived by her three daughters, Agnes Lackman of Hermann, Nadine Pruessner & husband Joe of New Haven and Carol Brandt & husband Glenn of Hermann, a son Daniel Klott & wife Donna of Washington, two sisters, Anna Spaunhorst of St. Ann, Missouri and Vivian Funke & husband John of Quincy, Illinois, a sister-in-law Esther Heberle of Hermann, a sister-in-law Betty Klott of Hermann, a brother-in-law Tony Klott & wife Bonnie of Bowling Green, Missouri, a sister-in-law Eleanor Heberle of Hermann, a sister-in-law Joan Eckerle of New Haven, a sister-in-law Bernadette Overkamp & husband Norbert of Waukesha, Wisconsin, by her grandchildren John Lackman & wife Calah, Tiffany Lackman & fiance Zac Henske, Danielle Anderson & husband Matt, Jared & Bobby Pruessner, Michael & Gregory Brandt, Jeffrey Klott & wife Erin and Jodi Klott, and by three great grandchildren, Jack & Caroline Lackman and Elaina Anderson. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother James Heberle.

Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be held at St. George Church, Hermann, Missouri at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 12th, with Father Bill Debo officiating.

Burial will be at St. George Cemetery.
