Coach Jaime Hoener said, “We knew if we served aggressively we would be just fine, it just took us a little while. There were a few balls I think we let drop. That’s something we’ll work on at practice…need to tighten our game up a little bit.”
Kallmeyer and Steinhoff combined for 19 of the teams 31 kills, “Emily [Kallmeyer] really had a good night. When we need a kill I think we have to go to her. When we need a kill I think we have to go to her,” Hoener said.
Kelsey Peacut came out in street cloths and was obviously a no-go Monday night. Hoener did say that Peacut’s shoulder was feeling much better. Peacut will practice on Tuesday, but whether she will play on Wednesday won’t be known until that night.
The Shamrocks will play Wednesday night against the number 2 seed Bismarck at 6:30.
The winner will advance into the District Championship Match immediately following the New Haven vs Bismarck match.
