NEW HAVEN, Mo. - Sunday evening at 4:50 p.m. New Haven/Berger Fire and New Haven EMS responded for a vehicle rollover car crash, located at the intersection of Highway 100 and Grant Lane, approximately five miles west of New Haven.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) said that 38-year-old Andrew Roettgers of Washington, Mo. was traveling westbound on Highway 100 when he swerved to the left in an attempt to avoid from hitting a deer.
Roettgers vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking a stop sign as the vehicle overturned, coming to rest on Grant Lane.
The MSHP says that Roettgers sustained moderate injuries and was transported by New Haven EMS to Hermann Area District Hospital.
The MSHP reports that Roettgers was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
