Mildred Bertha Brune (June 17, 1926 - September 3, 2014)

Mildred Bertha Brune, 88, of New Haven, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at New Haven Care Center.

Mrs. Brune was born in Leslie, Missouri on June 17, 1926, the daughter of the late Hugo and Martha (Schroeder) Hoemann.

She was the widow of Earl H. Brune. They were married January 3, 1948 at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Port Hudson, MO. Earl preceded her in death on July 15, 2001.

Mildred was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, New Haven, Missouri. She was a homemaker and loved cooking for her family.

Harlie Ray Warren (November 12, 1934 - September 1, 2014)

Mr. Harlie Ray Warren, 79, of New Haven, Missouri passed away Monday, September 1st, 2014 at his residence.

Mr. Warren was born in Olive Branch, Illinois on November 12, 1934, the son of the late Howard and Orpha (Bedwell) Warren.

He was the husband of Boyce Cheri (Tate) Warren, they were married on April 16, 1976 in St. Louis, Missouri.

He worked as a Pipefitter at Union Electric/AmerenUE for over 17 years.

Kenneth "Arch" Oberg (January 2, 1956 - August 21, 2014)

Kenneth "Arch" Oberg, 58, of Stony Hill, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Stony Hill, Missouri.

Mr. Oberg was born in Washington, Missouri on January 2, 1956, the son of the late Archie T. and Marian (Niedergerke) Oberg.

Kenneth was a member of St. James U.C.C., Stony Hill, Missouri and the Stony Hill Fire Dept.

He first worked for Ashley's. After that he worked for Multiplex in Fenton for approximately 15 years. He then went to work for GDX in New Haven. He loved to dear hunt and was a very happy, go lucky, friendly guy.

James H. Bias, Jr. (May 5, 1936 - August 17, 2014)

James H. Bias, Jr., 78, of Washington, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at his home.

Mr. Bias was born in Fayette, Missouri on May 5, 1936, the son of the late James H. Bias, Sr. and Christine (Clickner) Clouse.

He was the widower of Norma Jean (Gray) Bias. They were married in Bladensburg, Maryland. Norma preceded him in death on April 12, 1997.

ROSEBUD, Mo.
- Christopher Tyler Blankenship, 38, of Rosebud, Mo. passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur from injuries in a dirt bike crash.

Chris was known by most as "Short," a nickname given to him by his brother Justin "Bink" when he was a toddler.  However, once they were older the name was actually more suitable for Bink.

Short graduated from Owensville High School in 1994.  He was united in marriage on October 6, 2001 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Bem to Crystal Cahill.  They have two children, Macen Noall, 11 and Kate Gracyn, 8.

He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Bem and a life member of the American Motorcyclist Association.  He was an assistant coach for 6th grade Dutchmen Youth Football and spent many hours helping various local organizations in Owensville and Rosebud.

Norma L. Whitman (March 25, 1929 - August 13, 2014)

Norma L. Whitman, 85, of Hermann, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Frene Valley Health Center.

Mrs. Whitman was born in Arcola, Illinois on March 25, 1929, the daughter of the late Roy and Nellie (Grove) Diffenderfer.

She was the widow of Paul Whitman. They were married February 22, 1948 at Jonesburg, Missouri.

Marie C. LaBoube (May 29, 1924 - August 8, 2014)

Marie C. LaBoube, 90, of Hermann passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 at The Arbors at Victorian Place, Washington, MO.

Mrs. LaBoube was born in Litchfield, Illinois on May 29, 1924, the daughter of the late Henry and Theresa (nee Meyer) Meyer.

She was a member of St. Paul's Church Berger, MO. Marie loved to sew, garden and take care of her lawn, she also enjoyed traveling with her husband.

Charles Marion Morris (February 26, 1928 - July 30, 2014)

Charles Marion Morris, 86, of Hermann, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Frene Valley Health Center.

Mr. Morris was born in Flat River, Missouri on February 26, 1928, the son of the late George and Emma Morris.

He was the widower of Flora (Sliger) Morris. They were united in marriage on February 26, 1956. She preceded him in death on May 17, 1990.

Charles proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He did welding for power plants and was a member of the Boilmakers Local 27.

Harold A. Ocheskey (August 24, 1916 - July 26, 2014)

Harold Ocheskey passed away Saturday July 26th at the age of 97 at the Frene Valley Nursing Center Hermann, Missouri.

He was born in Pershing Missouri on August 24, 1916 to the late Arthur and Pauline Ocheskey. Harold was united in marriage to Erline Baries on November 20,1939.

Erline proceded him in death on November 20, 2007. He is survived by a son, Glen and his wife Janet Ocheskey of Hermann, a daughter-law Mary Jane Ocheskey of New Haven, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
