Today, May 15 is a day we remember officers killed in the line of duty on National Peace Officer Memorial Day.  Flags are lowered to half-staff across the Untied States as a symbol, expressing their sympathy and appreciation to all police officers who place their life on the line everyday, especially those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
